What do we think will happen? Realistically? Hopefully? Far-fetchedly?? I'm still not sure at all, but I wanna know what everyone else is thinking!

I think that Miyabi and Yumi will most likely end up together, and I hope to see Mitsuzuka again so that Haruki will have both his father and grandfather in his life >w<

Miyumi !!! Maybe a grown up version on Miyabi's son? That would be pretty sweet

I'm actually pulling for a non-Miyumi ending. That would defy the typical romance genre story, which TWTYH has done thus far. I'm much happier with the interpretation of Miyabi and Yumi being two people who needed to meet in life to cause great changes in themselves and others, but never end up together in the end of the story, despite "feelings". Kinda like Van and Hitomi in Vision of Escaflowne.

YUMI
During this time jump, Yumi's in her third year of college or senior year. She's studying the sciences. She wants to be a neurologist or is in international business, studying not only German but other languages. Something fancy.
She now has two cats because she volunteers at an animal shelter on weekends.
At the very end: She is a doctor or a scientist. Or both. Yumi's brain and her penchant for hard work makes her someone with no limits. She has cured cancer. She has a child named Miyumi. Yes, that's a legitimate name. It means "true bow" which I think is very appropriate because bows shoot arrows. And arrows hit hearts. And Miyumi would be the physical manifestation of Miyabi's and Yumi's romantic love. TO YOUR HEART. (insert image of me throwing a baby at Miyabi and Yumi)
So I predict Miyabi and Yumi will either: 1) GET TOGETHER AND LAUGH JOYOUSLY ON A BEACH SUNSET 2) Get to know each other better and it ends on a "will they, won't they" scene but are ultimately happy they met each other 3) Stay friends. Make heart hands with each other. Have babies together. Oh wait, that's not how it works.
TOSHIO
Toshio will find a girlfriend. Maybe a photographer, maybe a fellow model, maybe a fan. She could be anyone. And if he ends up with a guy, that would be quite a twist. Dude would be a scientist and they'd have perfect chemistry.
Toshio's dad finds Toshio. Toshio doesn't forgive him until he realizes that all this hate is hurting him more than his dad. But Toshio don't give a crap so he still remains estranged with his father. So it takes up one page and then we get back to Toshio hanging out with his new love interest.
And for some reason, I feel like Toshio will end up as an actor. He'll be an action star.
MIYABI
Becomes the best dad ever. Haruki grows up and becomes the Prime Minister of Japan. (It will be in a caption of a panel where Haruki's playing with Ayane in their toddler love.)
Miyabi becomes a judge on Japan's Next Big Star or has founded his own record company.
At some point, Miyabi collides with Yumi to allude to how Yumi crashed into him when they first met. And they kiss.
THE OTHERS (Because Miyabi, Yumi, and Toshio are the "The Three Drama Llamas")
-Klaus and Briggite break up because their careers take them to different places. Klaus has a fling with Miyoko or Yumi but decides to get back with Brigitte. Brigitte and Klaus settle down. In their fifties, they decide to have a farm and move away from the city.
-Alex and Fumiko don't work out. Fumiko becomes a famous journalist. Alex becomes a game show host.
-Miyoko and Eizo get back together. Eizo realizes his Orochi craziness started because Miyoko was a fan of them and he wanted to impress her. Miyoko and Eizo become a fashion designer team.
-Asami and Hugo goodness. They work out at the gym together, take classes at the same university because Asami's in college now. Asami goes on to become a dance coordinator, marine biologist, WHO KNOWS? Hugo becomes a psychologist. He has coined the term "Mattress Matter" to describe a problem that can only be solved by sleeping on it. He has also developed the "Asami Theory" to describe the phenomenon where every time you let someone go unselfishly, you find a someone even more compatible for you right around the corner. (Hugo proposes to Asami in a scientific paper which Asami can't read because it's all in German.)
-Musashi and Shuya have another kid. Either in their arms or on the way. Shuya's hobby is to make guitars (electric, bass, acoustic, ones made from salmon). Musashi sets a hair trend where all the girls dye their hair pink. They call her color "Pink Rock Musashi" (or a better sounding name).
-Sayaka and Kazuki have a kid on the way too. Sayaka has a career as a photographer. Maybe she gets to photograph Toshio on some of his photoshoots. She travels around the world with Kazuki and they take photos together against famous monuments. Kazuki paints but he's horrible at it. The paintings become the most valuable works of art since Van Gogh hundreds of years after Kazuki dies when the world was taken over by giant lemon squid. (Japan becomes the last country populated by humans because they knew this day would come.)
-Akito and Monique also have a kid but it's not their kid, it's a false alarm page where they're actually volunteering at a daycare or a school. Monique becomes an English teacher in Japan. Akito and Monique go to gaming tournaments and THEY WIN.
-Sakuzo and Izumi elope in California. Sakuzo has dual citizenship and a fragrance line. The most popular perfume: Hanaemi (花笑み) which means "a flowering smile" (I don't know if that's right but I saw it in an unofficial Japanese dictionary, thought "Hey that's really cool"). Izumi cultivates flower gardens and goes base jumping. We find out he's shy but is a thrill seeker.
As you can see, I've thought about this a lot. Thank you for reading my foaming at the mouth but the foam is marshmallow response.

Wow Neve. Everyone else wrote a sentence or two, but you really planned everyone's life out. I especially enjoyed the giant lemon squid. =)
As much as I want Yumi and Miyabi to end up together, I feel like they'd be better as just close friends. I think the band members will decide to go on and do their own separate things after a few years. Yumi ends up being a teacher, and has a singing career on the side. Miyabi and her collaborate for a few songs. Miyabi will have a solo career and eventually find the love of his life. Yumi will be good friends with her too. Toshio will be modeling and possibly acting. I think he'll use some of the money he earns to start a charity organization. Musashi and Shuya will have their own music school. They will have a few more kids. Akito and Monique will assist aspiring bands and be translators, and Akito may have some sort of food or drink product that sells amazingly well.
I'm not really sure how much further into the future we will get to see with these characters, but this is how it plays out in my head.

Oh god. I've ran this through my head more times than not. And what I want sometimes people disagree though I'm reading a lot of it here. So, HA! You all followed my ideals! Bow to the Loki!
My predictions or wants? I predict Yumi and Miyabi will get together, what I want is different. Let's go with wants instead...
Miyabi and Yumi never get together, realizing that their feelings really were just love for what they did not are. So, they become the closest friends you can get without crossing the line(Miyabi has seen Yumi naked before but had no sexual urges or thoughts, it turns to be a funny scene that they joke about till Miyabi dies later on from the same thing his mother died of). Yumi finds someone from her job(whatever it was, I never cared about that detail) and she lives a beautiful life though never having a child.
Toshio becomes the number one model(this came about after Emi revealed that, before he went on to be a head figure of the music industry forming many bands and helping them become popular) and was the face of Japan. He finally confronted his father and put his past completely behind him. He watched his sister marry Hugo with pride. He eventually married a guitarist from one of the bands he managed. She became really popular and even earned great success in the states. He was given two sons who would later grow up to be a movie actor(won many awards and even land many American movie roles), and to be a singer, following in Miyabi's footsteps after his death.
Akito and Monique, well I never thought much about them, but I always saw them stay together and be happy forever. I would like to think that they eventually move to the States(Akito practically demanded it) and they helped different conventions through-out their life.
Shuya and Musashi is an easy one. They continue to give back to the community and have an amazing life. They don't have anymore kids and their daughter grows up to be a lawyer. Shuya actually laughs about this, but pushed his daughter to go for what she wanted as he wished his parents had.
The rest of the people? Well, Mitsuzuka actually commits suicide later on unable to live without his daughter and all of his dark thoughts take over his mind. Eizo lives a weird life of jumping from band to band trying to find the next Orochi. It overtakes his life and he does not end up with anyone and has a hard time keeping a job. Miyoko finds someone similiar to Eizo before he became obsessed and they die after a full life in bed holding each other's hands(natural causes). Klaus and Bri just...stay together honestly. They travel the world after school and learn music all over the world, they eventually settle down each teaching music(Bri at a university and Klaus at High School).
THe rest of the characters I gave no thoughts about(sorry). And you'll notice a lot of it is dark sadly. Only because I feel stories should never all end happy. Some have to end terribly. It's the natural way of life. Some though just...fit the character in my head.
While that is what I want, the real secret is that, I want Yumi and Toshio to be together again. Even though I want it to end with Yumi not being with someone(I just feel better that way),I still have feelings towards this relationship and demand it happens. >.<
